Well my birthday was off the hook...the hotel was the BOMB, friends were crazy and the patio rooftop bar was AMAZING....I really enjoyed it...the Zoo Concert was really nice last Friday night...

I am now heading to Denver for the Sade concert....nice to be alone....I needed some time away to write, focus on blogging and try to redesign Get Loose...it is a year old and I still love it. It is not Detour Memphis but I am thinking of making it more about Albuquerque and Santa Fe....it is so much to do here and I want to showcase it....

I met someone special and it is great....we are going to the opera in Santa Fe Saturday night...coming back Sunday...I'm excited...

The California trip with Herman and Nick G. is planned....that is going to be fun in October....Paris is in September....

I have had a fun year....37 was great...38 kicked off with style...I want to stay on this high and style level....I love it...It is so Lauren Conrad without the cameras...

I can't wait to get the land in California City developed...that is going to be fun...

Well off to check Twitter and sip on this beer before leaving for Denver...Sade here I come!!

I haven't posted a real blog in months...here is a little update on my life in ABQ, New Mexico:

1. Been here almost a year - will be on July 3rd, 2010.

2. I am happy - I used to worry about so much and now it is just smooth sailing,

3. I am turning a year older -- August 8th...I will be in D.C. with an old friend that I love so much, Emily!!

4. It has been a great year out here in New Mexico...I have seen so much and have really enjoyed it.

5. I want to think all of the cool people in New Mexico...a shot out to Ernest and all of the nights out drinking.

6. I love the area I live in - Uptown.

7. I am going to Paris, France in October - so excited...I can die after that - LOL!!!

8. My next stop in life is to see the west coast and beyond.

9. I have a lot to do in the next decade...

If you have been checking out my Facebook page, I have been working on my 2,010 Things to Do In 2010 list. I am excited. I have a lot planned and I am going to do it all!!

I must tell the truth...I am happy for the first time in a long time....I feel at peace. And I am OK with the past. Yeah, there are still somethings I need to work on, but I am overall happy.

If you ever check out some of my past blogs, you will see a man who was clueless most of the time and lost. I had some issues...I worked on them and came out of them.

I am planning to return to publishing next year, I am launching a photo digital magazine next fall. It will be similar to Detour Memphis, but it will not be the same format and style. I needed a break from Detour Memphis, the television program and all the other things I was working on.

I miss putting out a monthly magazine. It was a lot of work, but it was fun.

This month is moving along...Thanksgiving is almost here and I leave for Memphis in less than 2 weeks. I can't wait to drink bubbly and have some time away from the job. I come back to ABQ and then off to Santa Fe, New Mexico for Christmas.

Relaxing after a busy day of articles, shopping and getting my hotel booked for my March 2010 trip to Memphis, TN. I have to go back and move my stuff to out here in Albuquerque. I need all of my stuff-I can't wait to get everything.

I still have to book my trip to Paris, France - May 2010.

I want to go to Malta too, but I may not can fit that trip in...must see!!

Well November is here already. This year moved on by. It was busy, quick, fun and crazy all at the same time. I have had a good year so far...lots of changes - I MEAN A LOT OF CHANGES.

I can't wait to visit Memphis on the 28th of this month and to spend Christmas in Santa Fe, NM.

I have been in Albuquerque since July 2nd and I still love it, even though the weather has changed. It is Halloween and I am watching some silly horror movie on ABQ's public access channel.

Ohh what a night...

I am starting to blog again...for the months of November and December--then I am going to think about blogging like I used to Memphis. Blogging is fun, but takes a lot of time to get your thoughts all right after a long day of working and shopping.

Well, November is almost here and the time is changing tonight. Long nights ahead!!
